AskOracle ("we", "us") is an AI-guided I Ching reading tool operated by Black Orange at oracle.blackorange.org. By using the site you agree to the terms below.
What we collect. When you cast a reading we process the question text you type and the hexagram your coin casts produce. If you purchase a full reading, this data is stored temporarily on our servers (Upstash / Vercel KV) for up to 7 days so we can generate and deliver your reading, then it is automatically deleted.
Analytics. We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate usage (e.g. how many readings are cast). This uses cookies/identifiers and collects standard device and event data. We do not sell your data.
Payments. Payments are processed by PayPal. We never see or store your card details. PayPal's handling of your payment data is governed by PayPal's own privacy policy.
No account. We do not require registration and do not build user profiles. Your recent readings are stored only in your own browser (localStorage) and never sent to us unless you purchase.
Your rights. To request deletion of any stored reading, email us the reference ID with your request.
The service. AskOracle provides AI-generated interpretations based on the classical 64-hexagram I Ching system and the three-coin method. Readings are for personal reflection and entertainment. They are not, and must not be relied on as, professional financial, legal, medical, or psychological advice.
Acceptable use. You agree not to abuse, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service, and not to resell readings as professional advice.
Availability. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Interpretations are generated by third-party AI and may vary.
Age. The service is intended for users 18 and older.
A full reading is a one-time digital purchase (currently $2.99 USD) delivered instantly and generated uniquely for your question. Because it is a personalized digital product delivered immediately, all sales are final, with one exception:
Approved refunds are returned to your original PayPal payment method.
